Here's what you could win by voting in the People’s Choice Award:

• Overnight stay for two at your favourite Newcastle accommodation, including breakfast. 
• Dinner for two at your favourite Newcastle restaurant
• Pre or post dinner drinks at your favourite Newcastle bar 
• A case of beer or voucher to your favourite Newcastle brewpub

Voting opens at 12.01am AEST Monday July 1 2024 and closes at 11.59pm AEST Wednesday July 31 2024. 

Which venues can I vote for?

The People's Choice Award is open only to all bars, hotels (pubs), and brewpubs located within the Newcastle Local Government Area (LGA). Not sure if your favourite business qualifies? Click here.

How is the People’s Choice Award winner determined?

It's simple – each bar, hotel (pub), and brewpub with the most votes will win its People's Choice Award category. The winners of each category will be announced at the Bar Awards event on August 5.

How many times can I vote?

When is the People’s Choice Award winner announced?

The People’s Choice Awards will be announced at the Bar Awards event on Monday August 5, 2024 and via hunterhunter.com.au/barawards on Tuesday August 6, 2024. The winner of the People’s Choice Award competition prize will be contacted on Wednesday August 7, 2024.
