This spring, The Levee Central Maitland will be blossoming with the return of the much-loved Bling and Bloom mini market.

Bling and Bloom will showcase a vibrant mix of fashion and floral artistry on Saturday, September 14 from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Visitors can explore a curated selection of stalls featuring local makers, enjoy live music, and participate in a variety of free, family-friendly workshops. David Graham, The Levee Public Programs Officer at Maitland City Council, says,

‘Bling and Bloom has something for everyone, especially those with a creative spirit.

'We’re excited to offer a range of activities and stalls where shoppers can explore vibrant floral themed art, handmade accessories, and jewellery, charming crocheted creations, and fresh local produce as well as flower stalls.

An event for the whole family, discover colourful jewellery and beautiful bouquets from our curated selection of stallholders including Annie’s Art Worx, Gypsy and Hide, fresh produce from Slow Food Hunter Valley, and more.

Enjoy live music performances from a line up of talented young creatives and bring the kids along and join in one of the free workshops on the day. The free kids workshops, including sensory play with Nature and Nurture Events, where kids can create magical nature wands and wreaths, and paper jewellery crafting with Aksara Harriram.

After enjoying the festivities, visitors can explore the local cafes and shops in The Levee Shared Zone and wider precinct.

'Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, enjoying a bite from one of the local cafes, or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, The Levee is the perfect place to celebrate the arrival of spring,' Mr Graham adds.
