The Sydney Junction Hotel, otherwise known as SJ’s, has stood at the end of Beaumont St for longer than most of us can remember, since 1881 in fact.
With an enthusiastic and modern approach to pub food, SJ's has a tasty menu that caters to the whole family.
Head Chef Kylie Foster has put her years of experience to the test creating a menu that is simple but elegant and full of flavour. From the Seven Spiced Squid, to the Beef, Mushroom and Red Wine Ragout, Lamb Shoulder and Confit Duck Maryland. It's hearty and will leave you super satisfied.
The dining area that merges beautifully into the outdoor courtyard makes for a perfect mid-week or weekend dining option. Especially if you’ve got some rug rats in tow.
The kids play room is brilliant to keep the little ones occupied whilst mum and dad relax and enjoy their meal, and perhaps even some uninterrupted conversation as well. Best yet kids meals are only $5 which includes a free paddle pop and activity pack Monday – Thursday.
Whilst the bar is open until 3am and attracts a whole different crowd when the sun goes down, by day the Sydney Junction Hotel has a real family-friendly feel to it, and with a new menu just released it makes for the perfect reason to revisit.
