The Mrs Edit is quickly becoming known as the place to go for the fashionable bride whatever her budget.

After successfully launching the re-loved event last year and connecting future brides with pre-owned designer gowns, The Mrs Edit is back this wedding season with a new studio space in Mayfield West and a packed schedule of shopping events for brides-to-be.

Brought to you by Newcastle bridal designer and seamstress Laura Hawthorne, The Mrs Edit has become renowned in the local industry for custom bridal designs and expert alterations and customisations.

As her brides started seeking second looks and advice on shoes and accessory pairings, she began offering styling packages to help brides shopping ready to wear. Now she plans to bring all these services under one roof.

“My goal is to create an unforgettable shopping experience for brides to find their whole bridal wardrobe. We will be stocking ready-to-wear bridal edits from Australian designer labels, made-to-order gowns from local and international bridal designers as well as pre-loved gowns from our favourite designers. We help our brides style the look with in-house accessories and organise alterations with our in-house seamstresses.

“We are seeing so much individuality now in weddings and every couple has different priorities. For some brides, a one-of-a-kind gown is at the top of the list whereas others are looking for a more sustainable and cost-effective choice without compromising on design. We offer both these brides the chance to have that memorable shopping experience with their loved ones while finding the perfect bridal look for them.”

Brides-to-be can have this experience for themselves at one of the upcoming bridal shopping events at The Mrs Edit studio in Mayfield West. Hidden away in the unassuming cubbyhole complex you will be transported into a dreamy and intimate light-filled space surrounded by hues of white and ivory where the sparkly dresses are complemented by a glass of sparkling wine.
